11:00 am Service – Faith of a Modern Man

Event Details

Inventor, journalist, statesman and bon vivant, Benjamin Franklin was not only the most intellectually brilliant but also the most completely contemporary of America’s founding generation, not just a man of the eighteenth century but a genius for all time. In anticipation of President’s Day, Rev. Kowalski explores the freewheeling spirituality of this revolutionary spirit, who never occupied the Oval but could compute the ellipses of comets as easily as discoursing on the tenets of Confucius. (Bent Lodge Masons are especially invited!)
