Meet Our Minister – Reverend Diana Davies

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Diana Davies served as lead minister at the First Unitarian Church of Oklahoma City, from 2018 – 2024. Previously, she was a consulting minister to the Unitarian Universalists of Charlestown, in Catonsville MD, and completed her ministerial internship at First Unitarian Church of Baltimore. She was ordained by the UU Congregation of Princeton and First Unitarian Church of Baltimore in 2017 and received full ministerial fellowship in 2022. Rev. Davies holds a Master of Divinity degree from Meadville Lombard Theological School and a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of Rochester with concentrations in Russian and Spanish.

Before her ministry, she had a career in higher education, most recently serving as Vice Provost for International Initiatives at Princeton University. She has served as a UUMA Good Officer, an officer of the Meadville Lombard Board of Trustees, a member of the UUSC Finance Committee, and a trustee of the Interfaith Alliance of Oklahoma. She is a registered yoga teacher and taught for the Prison Yoga Project in Maryland. 

Diana and her husband Jim Reilly moved to Ranchos de Taos in the spring of 2024. They have a small, market garden and are very interested in native plants and regenerative agriculture. Jim is a financial expert witness and works from home. They are the proud human companions of two greyhounds: Bran and Rua.
