Sunday, February 21—Service: Bend Not Break, 11 a.m. – 12 noon
Rev. Jeanne Montclair
To bend a knee is a form of respect, of honor, of humility, as well as an act acknowledging a surrender to something larger than ourselves. Knees are symbolic of flexibility and strength, for it is in our flexibility—our adaptability—that we are strongest.
Rev. Montclair reflects on bending towards the heart —of leaning into the brokenness of this world and how we all become stronger for it.
